de Graaf, Dinphina Cornelia - Peacefully at Holland Christian Homes, Brampton, surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in her 85th year. Mom was born Dinphina van der Muren on January 11, 1934 in the Netherlands. She came to Canada in 1952 and was married to Carl Does from 1960 until his passing in 1966. Dinphina raised John (Wanda), Gary (Kathy), Richard and Deborah (Collie) with strength and love, until 1971 when she remarried the late John de Graaf. This brought Johnís four children into her life, Henry (Sally), late John (Ruth), late Betty and Patricia. Mom will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her faith in God was the foundation of everything in her life. It defined her strong convictions towards family life and her church community. She was charitable in both gifts and actions, she was a hard worker in all aspects of her life. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Mom is now with all those who have gone on ahead of her, celebrating with eternal joy in heaven.
The family will receive friends at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock (519-537-3611) on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6-8 p.m., and again on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 10 -10:45 am at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock. A complete funeral Mass will follow at 11 am. with Fr. Dariusz Jagodzinski as celebrant. Interment of ashes will be held in the spring in St. Maryís Cemetery.
