WESTENDORP, Ed Welcomed into the arms of his Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Woodstock Hospital, Edward Westendorp in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Lynne Westendorp (nee Ralston) for 55 years. Loving father of Dana Lynne Endersby (John), Glenn Westendorp (Beth) and Joy Woods (Rob Thompson) all of Woodstock. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Carolyn, Selena, Carlton and Tristan Endersby; Joel Westendorp; step grandchildren Robert, William, Randy, Gregory Lavigne and the late Hannah Lavigne; Jaiden, Leah and Ryan Woods. Survived by his brother Henry Westendorp of Arthur. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Rein and Aaltje Westendorp and siblings Don, John, Joe, and Annie. Ed was a teacher for 30 years and had a passion for teaching elementary children. His great love of music was a large part of his life and he was a devoted member of The Bonds of Love Quartet for many years. The family will receive friends at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 6-8 pm for a memorial visitation. A memorial service will be held at Huron Park Baptist Church, 199 Berwick St. Woodstock on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2 pm. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Youth Unlimited.
