CONLON, Gerald K. – Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Woodstock Hospital, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Gerald Kelly Conlon of Woodstock and formerly of Montreal and Stoney Creek, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of late Teresa Evelyn Conlon (nee Farrell) (2012). Cherished father of Christine Conlon-Keast (Michael) of Ottawa, Michael Conlon (Yvonne) of London, Ann Marie Nittoly (Michael) of Richmond Hill, Maureen Crawford (late Bill) of Jackson’s Point, Mary Butler (David) of Woodstock, and John Conlon (Joan) of London. Loved grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Gerry will also be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Helen Collins, as well as his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget (nee Quilty) Conlon, and also by his 10 siblings. He was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors, he also enjoyed embracing family and friends with his love of music. Gerry was a Veteran of WWII, as well as a long-standing member of the Oxford County Naval Veteran’s Association (Navy Club), and Knights of Columbus. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday December 1, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
